Not only does a good coat of sealer on your stamped concrete pool deck protect your investment, it makes it look a whole lot better! This past week we were in Fort Wayne, Indiana again and had to reseal a stamped concrete pool area that was looking a bid dull. The homeowner asked if there was anything that we could do to bring it back to life and after looking at the stamped concrete around the in-ground pool, we knew that a couple of good coats of our acrylic sealer would make the existing colors in the concrete pop out and make it look it look sharp and brand new again.
Day one was a cleaning process in which we used a buffing machine with floor cleaner to scrub the deep crevices along with a water extractor (since this was an inside job, we had to use this type of equipment for prep – outside we always use pressure washing to get the job done).
On day two, we applied two full coats our our acrylic clear sealer – a very tough protective film that exhibits outstanding resistance to water, chemicals and UV rays. The final coat included some anti-slip shark grip.
