The exposed aggregate look on the front porch and back patio was driving our latest customer crazy. Searching online for decorative concrete near Fort Wayne, Indiana – our customer found this blog and discovered the beauty of the Tuscan Slate application that we specialize in and contacted us.
Day one was the most intense with several hours spent grinding the exposed aggregate to get the surface ready for the base coat. This particular application consisted of a base coat of a chocolate integral color followed by a sangria colored slate trowel and then a desert beige colored trowel coat. These three colored trowel coats along with multiple coats of two different antiquing products created a beautiful depth of texture and color.
