Adrian Michigan was the location of one of our latest concrete flooring transformations. The Freedom Christian Fellowship Church had replaced their carpeting several times and wanted something more durable (with a little bit of the “wow factor” thrown in) – so we gave them one of our seamless “Tuscan Trowel” specialty applications.
The texture was created with one with our hybrid polymer concrete coatings to give it that “old world” slate look and feel and the color was achieved with a combination of two layers of water-based stains (going wet-on-wet) and then a second color coat the following day. A final color-coat of resin-based chocolate stain brought all the color together.
After two layers of clear epoxy, the colors popped and our customers were very happy with the final product! Check-out how the color turns from orange to awesome in the video below . . .
